Rehearsals (evenings) and build (mornings) for Alice in Wonderland begins June 4th
The show runs July 5th-14th
Parent Liaison/ House Manager
Theater experience is not necessary, though some knowledge is a plus. Our ideal candidate is assertive, organized, has great people skills, great written communication skills, event planning experience and works well on a team. The candidate should also have a creative flare, as they will be in charge of decorating the concessions area.
Must have a flexible schedule, though some work can be done from home. The first 2 weeks of July are required in the evenings.
Stage management experience is a plus. Must be available all rehearsals and show nights (some conflicts MAY be granted). Our ideal candidate is extremely organized, a self-starter, and works well with children. The right person for this job is able to juggle multiple responsibilities, anticipates challenges, and solves problems. Also, delegates work to ASM. The Stage Manager and ASM will also be responsible for props.
Assistant Stage Manager
Theatrical knowledge and experience is a plus. Must be available all rehearsals and show nights (some conflicts MAY be granted). This is a great opportunity for a high school or college student looking to gain theater and job experience. The ideal candidate is organized, task oriented, takes direction well, and works well with children. The Stage Manager and ASM will also be responsible for props.
Pre-Show Director’s Apprentice
This position is meant for a high school or college student interested in directing. This person should have some experience working with children (babysitting, summer camps, etc.) The ideal candidate is responsible, enthusiastic, and hardworking. Must be available all rehearsals and show nights (some conflicts MAY be granted).
Set Crew Members
Must have basic building knowledge and experience. Experience building sets a plus. The ideal candidate should be able to take direction from the technical director, solve problems as they arise, finish projects on time and do quality work. There will be a team of 3 on the crew, under the direction of the scenic designer/tech director. A lead crew member may be assigned for additional stipend pay.
BOARD OF DIRECTORS
Seeking motivated, passionate people to work as volunteers on the board. Board members responsibilities include fundraising, event planning, community outreach, etc.
